2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched in India

Ducati has just dropped the updated Multistrada V2 in India, and it’s all about smart refinements. The key news? A significant weight loss and a sharper tech package, making this versatile adventurer even more appealing.
New Updates of the 2025 Multistrada V2
Do not expect a complete revolution. Ducati has focused on a thoughtful evolution. The bike keeps its iconic adventure-sport silhouette but gets key updates where it counts.
The most talked-about change is the diet. The 2025 model has shed a substantial 18 kilograms. That brings the dry weight down to just 199 kg. This is a huge deal for riders. It means a more agile bike that is easier to handle both on twisting tarmac and when you are maneuvering in a parking lot.
What Powers the Updated Multistrada?
At its heart remains the beloved 890cc Testastretta V-twin engine. It continues to deliver a healthy 115 hp and 92 Nm of torque. This engine is a proven gem. It provides smooth, tractable power for touring and a thrilling punch when you open the throttle.
The power is sent to the rear wheel through a precise 6-speed transmission. So, while the spec sheet might look familiar, the lighter bike will make this power feel even more responsive and engaging.
Key Features and Color Options of Multistrada V2
You have two main variants to choose from. The standard Multistrada V2 starts at Rs. 18.88 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes loaded with essential modern features.
Then there is the premium Multistrada V2 S. It starts at Rs. 21 lakh. The 'S' model adds top-shelf suspension and more advanced electronics. This is for the rider who wants the absolute best in comfort and control.
The V2 S is available in two stunning shades. You can get the classic Ducati Red or a more subdued, sophisticated Storm Green.
Is the Design Any Different?
Yes, but subtly. The front end features a new full-LED headlight design with revised DRLs. It gives the bike a more modern and focused face. Around the back, you will spot a newly designed exhaust canister. The overall look remains unmistakably Multistrada, which is a very good thing.
